Built in 1909 for Senator August H. Bergman and designed by Proudfoot & Bird, the Bergman House is the only house the firm is known to have designed in the Mission Style. It has been a family home, apartments, a restaurant and inn, and nearly lost. Since 2019, we, Philippe and Megan Couillez, have been bringing it back to life. Now we’re opening the doors for small guided tours.
